Weekly drop-in yoga and mindfulness class, the Fold, Tuesdays 7-8.30 pm, in the Carthouse

**Restarting 7th January**

Come and join my regular drop-in class every Tuesday evening at the Fold, Bransford. A carefully crafted weave of meditation, breathwork, philosophy (new and ancient) and mindful vinyasa flow. Lots of options to help you make the practice your own. Themed classes to inspire our practice and to explore, more deeply, the fullness and tenderness of this precious human life. All welcome!

8-week course in yoga and mindfulness

The practice of mindfulness involves paying attention to our experience, just as it is, so that we can open to the fullness of each moment, and by extension, to the fullness of life. However, to taste the greatest benefits of mindfulness it is not only paying attention that matters but how we pay attention.

In this course, we will explore seven different attitudes (non-judging, patience, beginner’s mind, trust, non-striving, acceptance and letting go, collectively known as the attitudinal foundations of mindfulness) that we can intentionally cultivate on the mat to improve our everyday lives off the mat. Our exploration will include asana (yoga postures), breathwork and meditation and will be supported by poetry and music. We will build our practice progressively, week by week. The course includes home practice materials and support.
