Hello, I’m Freya Nettelsmith

Welcome to my website!

I hope you will find all the information you need about my current offerings and how to make contact with me.

I teach yoga and mindfulness and I have recently moved to Worcestershire with my family. I am offering classes at the Fold in Bransford.

I practice and teach a vinyasa flow style of practice, in which one posture is linked to another through breath. I offer an invitational space and I’m passionate about enabling my students to make the practice their own through modifications, hands on support and by encouraging intuitive movement. In my teaching I love to balance movement with stillness and to provide opportunities for meditation and reflection.

I’m fascinated by the relationship between body, mind and spirit and how movement, breath and self-knowledge (developed through practice) can impact our emotional and mental wellbeing and the way in which we relate to others and the world around us. As such, my main aim is to offer a space, and tools, for people to explore, more deeply, what it is to live this precious human life. This exploration always starts with an invitation to show up just as you are.

Mindfulness (the universal human capacity for awareness that arises from paying attention, to the present moment, on purpose and non-judgementally) is an essential ingredient of all my classes. It weaves its way through my teaching as an invitation to experience the breadth and depth of each moment. As I continue studying for a master’s degree in mindfulness at Bangor University, I will be offering courses that provide a deeper dive into mindfulness and the transformation it can bring to our lives.

For more information see my About page. You’ll find my current offerings here and you can get in touch with me here.

Peace is this moment without judgment,
this moment in the Heart-space where
everything that is is welcome.
